Newly Diagnosed Community Network
A Parkinson’s disease (PD) diagnosis can be an isolating experience, filled with questions and uncertainty about the path ahead. This network is a welcoming community for those recently diagnosed with PD. It’s a place to find your footing, connect with others who are at a similar stage, and transform uncertainty into positive, informed action guided by those who truly understand.
Network Mission
The Newly Diagnosed Community Network provides a vital compass for the journey ahead. Members can access trusted information, share their experiences, and become a source of comfort to one another. Our goal is to ensure no one faces Parkinson's alone and newly diagnosed people feel seen, supported and connected to hope.
Join Us
If you have been diagnosed with Parkinson's within the last five years, we invite you to join this community network. Connect with a group of peers who are navigating a similar path and turn your experience into a source of support for others. As a member, you can participate in quarterly virtual calls and support the network’s annual priorities.
Spread the word and help our community networks grow — please share this information with friends and family who might be interested in joining.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us at Volunteer@Parkinson.org.
