Dan Martinez

I am a retired business owner, transportation specialist and widower that loves the outdoors and staying busy. I've had Parkinson’s for 11 years and work every day to keep it at bay through exercise. I love when people say “I had no idea that you have Parkinson’s” and I want to keep it that way.

Greta Schetnan

Hi, I’m Greta Schetnan. I live in Lakeville, MN with my husband of 26 years. We’ve raised 2 sons, now 22 and 25, and are still trying to train our 13 year old Schnoodle! I’ve spent over 25 years in the education world and I am proud to be on the local Parkinson’s Foundation board. I enjoy exercising, gardening, live music, breweries, playing pickleball and cribbage, traveling, and family time. I was diagnosed with Early Onset Parkinson’s in April 2021 at the age of 48.

Lisa Erickson

Lisa Erickson is a retired director of research, having most recently served as Head of Public Markets Group at U.S. Bank Wealth Management. Prior to that, she held other group head positions at Altura Capital and Russell Investments. Lisa’s journey with Parkinson’s began with her diagnosis in January 2025, and she is excited and blessed to have this opportunity to serve our amazing Parkinson’s community through the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Lisa also volunteers as a consultant on new programming for Wooddale Church and participates in multiple Parkinson’s research studies. She is the widow of a wonderful husband, Chris Erickson, and has two loving and giving young adult sons, in addition to a beautiful daughter in law and three amazing stepdaughters.

Steven Rush

I personally and professionally have been associated with Parkinson’s disease. My grandmother and cousin had PD; and my brother currently is dealing with PD challenges. I’m a retired rehabilitation psychologist and health communications champion. I have developed programs and services to people with neuromuscular and other physical, emotional and cognitive challenges. I’ve provided training and created education materials, while also performing, supporting and reviewing research.

Throughout my career I have helped people live their best life possible.  I assisted them, their families, caregivers and others with focusing on their abilities, rather than disabilities. I supported efforts to better understand PD through available resources and eliminate/mitigate its impact. I’m also passionate about serving on volunteer and professional boards and committees.
