In research studies, gratitude has been linked to better sleep, immunity, and self-esteem, as well as lower stress, anxiety, and depression. This session will focus on how to cultivate this most beneficial state of the heart, and offer a gratitude meditation.

The Parkinson's Foundation is pleased to join the Hawai'i community again this year!

Parkinson's research is important to finding better treatments and improving care. At this program, attendees will learn about what's new in research, how research shapes treatments, and about care strategies for managing Parkinson’s symptoms.

People with Parkinson’s, their loved ones, and health providers are invited to join us for a Resource Fair, exercise demonstrations, table activities, raffles and giveaways, and lunch. This event will also feature PD GENEration, a research study offering genetic testing and counseling for people with a confirmed PD diagnosis.

Registration, parking and meals are provided at no cost to attendees, but registration is required.
