Expert Briefing: Artificial Intelligence & Parkinson’s
Wellness Wednesday: Expert Briefing Series
Artificial Intelligence & Parkinson’s: Understanding the Promise and the Pitfalls
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the way we live, work, and even receive medical care — including for people with Parkinson’s. But what exactly is AI, and how is it being used to support Parkinson’s research, diagnosis, and daily management?
From apps that help track symptoms to systems that may one day personalize treatment; this session will break down how AI tools are being used today and explore what’s coming. We’ll discuss the possible downsides, including privacy concerns, receiving inaccurate information generated by AI, and the importance of keeping the human connection in care.
The Foundation's Expert Briefing series is intended to offer firsthand access to the latest research and updates from experts in the field. Expert Briefing webinars will include more scientific terms and concepts.
