Mindfulness Mondays - Learning to Switch "Off"
In Parkinson’s, we may be familiar with the terms of "being on and being off". Of course, for our symptoms, we typically prefer to be on. In mindfulness, we want to take moments to switch "off". The practice of mindfulness helps us enter a state of acceptance, where we can give ourselves a break from distress and enter periods of calm so we can simply enjoy being alive. During our session today, we will be stepping out of autopilot and into the now. Join us in learning how to switch off, mindfully.
Whether this is your first mindfulness Monday or you are a returning participant, these sessions are created with the intention of including everyone. There will be time for questions following the practice.
