Staying active, engaged and involved is important for people with Parkinson’s disease (PD), their care partners and families. We encourage you to find local programs and services in your area that offer the opportunity to learn, connect and share experiences.
Contact our Parkinson’s Foundation Helpline of trained nurses, social workers and therapists at 1-800-4PD-INFO (473-4636) or helpline@parkinson.org for programs near you, in English or Spanish.
Carolinas is home to the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, a member of the Alliance of Independent Regional Parkinson Organizations (AIRPO). This consortium was formed with the shared goals of finding a cure for Parkinson's and supporting those who live with the disease. We encourage you to reach out to your local AIRPO member for additional programs in your area. Visit parkinsonassociation.org for a list of programs and events.
