Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Senior Director of Marketing

The Parkinson’s Foundation is seeking a Marketing Coordinator who will help support the marketing activities of the Communications team. 


  • Assist with development of strategic plans and results reports for public awareness campaigns and multicultural initiatives.

  • Manage employee access to marketing design templates in Canva. Lead staff Canva trainings and approve usage of brand.

  • Work with the Signature Events team (Moving Day, Parkinson’s Champions, Parkinson’s Revolution) to create new marketing resources to expand and grow events and promote our brand.

  • Manage PF presence at conferences, working with Sr. Director of Marketing to strategically increase brand awareness to professional audience.

  • Work across departments and chapters to maintain brand integrity, style guide and messaging consistency in all marketing collateral.

  • Maintain inventory and internal process for distribution of branded promotional items and work with departments on requests for new marketing collateral. Compile monthly accounting and inventory reports.

  • Support planning and execution of video and photography for new marketing collateral.

  • Assist with writing content for videos; manage video production and editing for research content. 

  • Oversee intern hiring process; review applications, conduct interviews and manage Communications intern’s tasks.

  • Update team planning documents and calendars; maintain shared file storage and inventory of marketing collateral.

  • Conduct research and communication audits as needed.

Experience/Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

  • At least 1-3 years of experience; Non-profit experience a plus.

  • Pristine grammar, copywriting, proofreading and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and to analyze campaign results.

  • Knowledge of basic graphic design principles preferred (familiarity with Canva and Photoshop).

  • Experience with video editing software required.

  • Excellent project management skills with ability to work on multiple detail-oriented projects.

  • Ability to collaborate with people in a variety of roles, functions and leadership levels; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Passion for non-profit work and health care a plus.

  • Demonstrates the organizational values of excellence, teamwork, collaboration, integrity, positivity, dedication, and responsiveness.


Compensation for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience. In addition, a comprehensive benefits package is included.
