Through our local networks, the Parkinson's Foundation provides people with Parkinson's disease (PD) and caregivers access to local resources and services, such as:
- Support groups
- Health and wellness classes
- Education programs
Our local networks educate the community about PD and raise awareness and funds through local activities, such as the Moving Day walk, golf tournaments and other special events to help ensure that people with PD, their families and caregivers live a full life. The Foundation produces free educational materials for our local networks to distribute to people in their communities and provides a toll-free Helpline, 1-800-4PD-INFO (473-4636) to assist with information and referrals.
