Advancement Initiatives Coordinator

The Advancement Initiatives Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the Foundation’s national and chapter fundraising events, helping to drive volunteer engagement and supporting various advancement initiatives. The position will report to the Vice President, Advancement Initiatives and work closely with the special event and volunteer engagement teams.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Special Events 50%

Helping organize OneCause revenue reports for Donor Services deposits every other week

Updating all special event revenue reports daily

Taking meeting minutes for national special event committee calls

Making edits as needed to national and chapter event websites

Researching new venues and vendors and sending out RFP requests for event/conference needs
-
Helping to update yearly templates for eblast content, sponsorship packets, auction commitment forms, etc.

Helping to transfer over/create new templates in Canva/Word/Excel for chapter staff

Creating invoices and tracking sponsor payments across all special events

Ensuring special event donor information is properly recorded in Raiser’s Edge

Tracking special event budget details by updating budget spreadsheet with numbers after each vendor payment/invoice

Submitting vendor payments and new vendor paperwork to accounting

Keeping track of RSVPs for non-fundraising events, including wine events and research dinners, as needed
Volunteer Engagement 30%

Maintaining volunteer records in Raiser’s Edge, generating reports, assigning actions, etc.

Coordinating communication between volunteers and field team
-
Serving as point of contact for general inquiries and supporting volunteer interest calls as needed

Ordering materials for volunteers

Submitting vendor payments and volunteer reimbursements to accounting

Creating volunteer event registration pages
-
Updating volunteer calendar and volunteer lists
Support Advancement Initiatives 20%
-
Providing administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Chief Advancement Officer and the Vice President, Advancement Initiatives as needed

Compiling the monthly Advancement Newsletter and helping to gather content for the quarterly Chapter newsletters from team members

Upkeeping internal distribution lists as new team members start or team members leave

Serving as account representative with our materials vendor and maintaining the material portal

Submitting monthly shipping invoices for resources shipping
Experience/Skills Required

Passion for Parkinson Foundation mission

Passion for event planning and volunteer engagement

Two years of project management/administrative experience

Experience working with high-level volunteers

Impeccable organizational skills and detail-oriented personality

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Self-starter and self-motivated

Ability to travel to events and work a variety of hours including days, nights, and weekends

Compensation
Salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience. In addition, a comprehensive benefits package is included. The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000. The salary range for this position is
