![Group of Parkinson's Foundation community members](/sites/default/files/styles/no_sizing/public/images/pf-community-networks.jpg?itok=FcxSIzim) Parkinson’s Foundation Community Networks are empowering affinity groups that amplify the voice and experience of key communities. These include children of people living with Parkinson’s disease (PD), people living with early-onset PD, people newly diagnosed, veterans with PD and women with PD.

Network members serve as ambassadors, mentors and advisors, connecting their communities to vital resources, while ensuring our programs are inclusive and responsive. Through shared priorities and peer support, the networks foster connection, extend our reach and strengthen communities.

### Join Us in Making an Impact

Volunteers are at the heart of the community networks. They drive our mission forward by:

- Serving as trusted liaisons, sharing tailored resources and information.
- Championing their community's voice to shape the Foundation’s work.
- Providing compassionate peer-to-peer support, connection and mentoring.
- Leading community-specific outreach and representing the networks at local events.

Parkinson’s Foundation Community Networks connect through virtual meetings that include informative discussions with Foundation leadership and dedicated peer-to-peer networking sessions.
