ONLINE: Ask the Experts: Coronavirus & Parkinson’s Disease

Do you have questions about what the COVID-19 coronavirus means for the Parkinson’s community? Join us on Wednesday, March 18 at 10 a.m. ET for a special Facebook Live event with our National Medical Director, Dr. Michael S. Okun, and infectious disease expert, Dr. Frederick S. Southwick, both of the University of Florida. Dr. Okun and Dr. Southwick will be on hand to answer YOUR questions about the disease and discuss the precautions you and your loved ones should take to stay healthy.

Dr. Okun is Co-Director of the University of Florida’s Center for Movement Disorders & Neurorestoration and Chair of Neurology, as well as author of the books Parkinson’s Treatment: 10 Secrets to a Happier Life and the new book Ending Parkinson’s, due out in March 2020. Dr. Southwick is Professor of Medicine at the University of Florida and author of Critically Ill: A 5-point Plan to Cure Healthcare Delivery and the textbook Infectious Diseases: A clinical short course.
