Giulia Carli, PhD, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan will be speaking about how diabetes affects the brain and symptoms in people living with Parkinson's disease. Roger Albin, MD, Anne B. Young Collegiate Professor of Neurology at the University of Michigan and AD/R, VAAAHS GRECC Director at the UM Udall Center, will be sharing research findings with special emphasis on participation opportunities for people living with Parkinson's. Karen Kluin, MS, CCC, BC-ANCDS, Supervisor in Speech-Language Pathology & Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the Michigan Medicine-University of Michigan & University of Michigan Medical School, will discuss the common motor speech, language, and swallowing problems and review latest PD treatments and strategies. ### Speakers **Giulia Carli, PhD** Postdoctoral Research Fellow University of Michigan Department of Neurology **Roger Albin, MD** Anne B.
