A genetic (inherited) factor that significantly contributes to the risk of Parkinson’s disease (PD) can be found in about 15% of people with PD. In most cases, people get PD due to a combination of genetic and environmental factors that vary considerably between different people with PD. Join us to learn more about the importance of genetic testing for Parkinson’s and how genetics can lead to better therapies to treat PD.
