This presentation will highlight the role of physical therapy in working with individuals experiencing cognitive changes from Parkinson’s disease. Cognitive and physical changes need to be addressed early on and throughout the course of the disease and physical therapy can provide management strategies for both. From difficulty with organizational skills to the challenges of hallucinations and staying active, physical therapy can help both the individual and the care partner maintain a high quality of life.
