This is the first part of a series of videos discussing sex differences in Parkinson's disease. The video was created from a presentation given by Dr. Nabila Dahodwala from the University of Pennsylvania. The Parkinson's Foundation recently announced that it awarded Dr. Dahodwala a two-year grant to study issues that result in differences in caregiving and to explore whether there may be options to improve caregiving. Dr. Dahodwala will use data from the Parkinson's Foundation Parkinson's Outcomes Project to design an approach to help clinicians address caregiving issues and engage clinic social workers to improve the lives of both women and men affected by PD.
Dr. Nabila Dahodwala is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Pennsylvania Hospital and the Director of the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center at the University of Pennsylvania, a Parkinson's Foundation Center of Excellence.
