People with Parkinson’s help design and review each survey. We collaborate with researchers from our Centers of Excellence and pharmaceutical partners to design surveys that meet research and community interests.

Survey findings help the Parkinson’s Foundation:

- Identify unmet community needs
- Improve educational programs and resources
- Inform research and policy priorities
- Better understand barriers to care and support
- Amplify lived experiences across the Parkinson’s community

 ### Featured Survey Series: State of the Community

The Parkinson’s Foundation [State of the Community Survey](/advancing-research/survey-data/community-survey "State of the Community Survey") is an annual survey designed to better understand the experiences, concerns and priorities of people affected by Parkinson’s disease. The survey is in English and Spanish. Survey findings help guide future education, community programs, research efforts, care priorities and policy initiatives.
