 ## PD Trial Navigator

The Parkinson’s Foundation has launched PD Trial Navigator, a new pilot program that helps connect people who have participated in PD GENEration with research studies focused on genetics. Through education and one-on-one guidance, PD Trial Navigators help participants understand clinical trial options and support them in deciding whether to take part.

Building on the success of [PD GENEration](/advancing-research/our-research/pdgeneration "PD GENEration: Powered by the Parkinson’s Foundation") — which has provided at no cost genetic testing and counseling to more than 30,000 people with Parkinson’s — this program helps more people explore research opportunities related to their genetic results.
