“Over time, I learned how to fight the [hidden non-movement symptoms](https://www.parkinson.org/understanding-parkinsons/non-movement-symptoms) of Parkinson’s disease (PD) that took us by surprise. Educating myself, finding exercise classes and therapy helped me regain some control — and ultimately led me to the Parkinson’s Foundation, where I set out to help people living with PD and their care partners fight these symptoms. **We dedicate this issue to care partners — to those who know the visible and invisible symptoms of PD too well.”**
