To better understand how Parkinson’s disease affects people of color, the Parkinson’s Foundation aims to the increase participation of patients from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds in its PD GENEration genetic testing program. Ignacio Mata, PhD, from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence, and María De León, MD, are quoted.
