Wellness Programs

Lifetime Care - Parkinson Café

The Parkinson Café is a gathering intended to provide a social outlet, intellectual stimulation and cultural interaction for persons with Parkinson’s disease and partners or other support people. 

Location:  Lifetime Care, 3111 Winton Rd. South, Rochester, 14623

Meets: First Wednesday of the month, October through June

Time: 10:00am – 1:45pm

Pieter’s Family Life Center - Connecting Voices

Sponsored by the Pieter’s Family Life Center. Through vocal exercises and singing, this program supports people with PD who want to work on speech related goals.

Meets: Fridays

Time: 1:00pm – 2:00pm

          Fee: $7/class or $50/8 weeks

Stretching the Limits for Parkinson’s at the Jewish Community Center

          After an initial assessment, JCC staff will recommend one of the three levels, based on mobility and functioning, for these group classes.
