Individual Investigator-Initiated Research Grant
The National Parkinson Foundation would like to share our new initiatives to refine our mission, create a sustainable focus for the future, and set standards of model care. We are extremely proud of our large network of centers, our strong reputation as an organization dedicated to PD care, and our dedicated staff and constituency.
The National Parkinson Foundation has made a strategic decision to focus the Centers program on a mission to improve the quality of Parkinson’s care and develop exemplary care. As a result of this, we will no longer have an investigator-initiated research “small grants” program. We have made the choice to fund research into the science of care and in so doing, have a major and immediate impact in improving the lives of persons with Parkinson’s disease and related disorders.
We are grateful for the work you are doing for the Parkinson’s disease community at large. We wish you the very best in your research efforts and hope that you will continue to improve the understanding of the etiology and pathophysiology of Parkinson’s disease and related disorders. Thank you for your past and continued support of NPF.
