Don't let Parkinson's hold you back from the trip of
your dreams! Just plan ahead using NPF's tips for
preparing your medications in advance,
accommodations at travel terminals, and specific
guidance for air, rail, bus and ocean travel. Most
importantly, don't try to do it all — see fewer sites
and give yourself extra time for everything and you
will enjoy your vacation even more!

Every year, up to 3.4 million people over 65 suffer a
fall. Approximately 38 % of people with PD fall each
year. Falls in PD occur mostly when turning or
changing directions and are often related to a
"freezing episode." Not all people with PD experience
freezing episodes, but those who do are at a much
