Description: Moving Day®, November 10th, 2013 is an annual collaborative fundraising and awareness event held at Nationals Park by the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) and the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA). Over 2,000 participants are expected to walk on behalf of and in memory of a loved one affected by Parkinson’s disease. It’s an opportunity for families, friends, healthcare professionals, corporate leaders, community leaders and Moving Day® teams to share an afternoon of friendship, exercise, and fun in support of the Foundation’s mission.

In addition to the walk, this will be a celebration of movement. There will be demonstrations and opportunities to participate and learn more about the benefits of yoga, stretching, dance and much more. Visit our many sponsors in the Pavilion, which will be open when registration begins through the end of the walk. There’s something for everyone to do! Bring the kids, the grandkids, friends and the whole family out for a memorable day.
