Description: Join us at the Irv Popkin Fantasy Walk – this year our travels take us to Phipps Conservatory for “A Walk Through Paradise! -- on Saturday, October 2nd from 1 to 4 pm. We’ll eat lunch in the tropical forest, nestled among lush greenery and waterfalls. This year’s program includes two guest speakers: Our first presenter will be from IKM, the architects for Phipp’s “green” expansion, including Mike Marcu, from The Parkinson Foundation board of directors. Our second presenter, Molly Steinwald, Associate Director of Science Education at Phipps, will show us how plants and nature are emotionally and physically good for all of us! All day admission to Phipps, lunch and the educational programs are included for $40 for adults and $15 for children. We’ll offer great raffle prizes and awards for all Fantasy Walkers that raise over $100! Nothing can compare to the feeling of taking action on behalf of yourself or your loved one with Parkinson disease... we encourage you to be a Fantasy Walker and raise funds for the Parkinson Foundation.
