National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota Unveils New Website

Release date: 4/25/2011

The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) is pleased to congratulate the NPF Minnesota chapter for being the first to showcase our new, unified brand on its website, NPF chapters and the national office will share this common look, which will serve as a symbol of our joint commitment to creating awareness on a national level and ensuring a consistent high level of services in all chapters nationwide.

Paul Blom, President of National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota, commented, “Our relationship with NPF has always been positive and mutually beneficial. The missing ingredient has always been the lack of a cohesive brand. NPF has responded beyond my expectations to fill this need.”

The NPF Minnesota website features information about local events, support group listings, the Respite Care Grant Program, and more. Patients and caregivers can also have their personal experiences with Parkinson’s disease added to the stories tree, an interactive visual representation of all the people affected by Parkinson’s disease.

By the end of 2012, all NPF chapters will feature this look and the same high level of program standards, bringing the very best resources available to their region.
